Itinerary
I will pick you up from Volos port to start our day. This tour would be private so we’ll plan our day together.
During this tour we will visit:
- The Archaeological Museum of Volos where we will stay for approximately 1hour. If you wish, we can skip the museum and spend more time in the villages of the mountain.
- Then we will drive to Mount of Pelion for 30-40 minutes (a road with turns). Makrinitsa village will be our first stop for a walking tour and coffee or lunch time.
- Portaria & Makrinitsa Villages to admire the traditional architecture of the mountain and Byzantine churches of the area.
- Adamena Square and the Centaur’s Path
- Optional, Traditional restaurant: taste the local drink “Tsipouro” served with small dishes with fresh salad, fish and seafood.
Please remember if you want to avoid the groups from a cruise ship for example, we can reverse the stops.
